Join the league
Congratulations to all winners from League Finals Day.
The 2016/'17 season of the Schools Ultimate League saw schools returning, expanding and joining as the competition continues to evolve.
New schools this season were:
- Colaiste Eoin, Stillorgan
- St. Mary's, Killester
In a change from previous years, teams weren't restricted to playing only within their division as all teams were encouraged to attend whichever fixture was most suitable to them in terms of date and location. This lead to matches of girls against boys, seniors against juniors and the league as a whole all getting to know each other a little bit better.
Unfortunately the season was late starting due to industrial action in schools. This meant not as many fixtures were played as previous years. Everyone still got games and appeared to enjoy the season as a whole.
The finals day had 20 teams attend across the Open, Girls and Junior divisions.
If you would like your school to be part of future seasons of the Schools Ultimate League, or even to play as a guest team in a round of games, simply fill in the form and we will get in touch with details.
