The 2017/'18 season of the Schools Ultimate League was the biggest to date as the number of teams and schools continued to increase. For the first time, there were Junior Girls and Junior Mixed fixtures, along with the established fixtures of Senior Boys, Girls and Mixed and Junior Boys.

Across the regular season and Finals Day, 47 different teams played matches with 30 attending the Finals on March 22nd. This is a 50% increase from 2017 and resulted in an extra 2 hours of game time.
